Formed design consultancy focused on providing footwear design, development, color and merchandising services.

• Created projects from brief to tech pack for multiple companies including Keen Footwear, Eastman Footwear Group, Hualian & DJM Footwear.

Managed communication and process improvements across categories and teams, through multiple team reorganizations improving product consistency and timelines.

• Led multiple fast to market projects including the Kids Hyperport landing product on shelf in 10 months and achieving well above planned sales with double digit sell-thru.
• Innovated children's product, achieving double-digit growth, with 50% margin goals.
• Managed product and color designers for the Outdoor Performance team, improving cross team communication to deliver faster and more coherent results.
• Collaborated with new Director of Design to transition from contract designers to an internal design team, interviewing candidates and creating a new design process.
• Worked with Product Operations team to help reduce product creation calendar from 18 months to 12 months while ensuring deadlines were achievable.
• Created new product and color brief processes, reducing product creation timeline.

Working across multiple brands and categories created over 100 new styles and 400 SKUs per season, working directly with suppliers to create new patterns and outsoles.

• Established style, material, and color trends, including seasonal color palettes.
• Created new Totes logos and branding, increasing brand visibility at retail.
• Designed for value by specifying proper, materials, manufacturing processes, and import specifications for lowest possible duty rate.
• Planned and executed overseas development trips to ensure product samples were completed to specification and achieving 100% on-time delivery.

Responsible for 15 to 20 projects, totaling over 50 SKUs per season.

• Led the design direction and execution of Saucony Children’s product, from Fall 2010 to Spring 2015, including the highest selling program across the entire children’s group brands.
• Innovated lighted products, including the brand’s best-selling product in the category.
• Integrated the Merrell Kids line into the children’s group design team leading to better fit, reduced components costs and weight, leading to increased sales and margin increase of approximately 10%.
• Managed the design internship program during four consecutive summers.
• Traveled to factories improving designs and problem-solving development issues, reducing time to market, product manufacturing risks and costs.
